The People’s Republic of Flying Dog is now in session. It’s happy hour at Flying Dog Brewery, so here is your latest dose of irreverenceHelp Save Road Dog!
We have no room to complain here at Flying Dog; with all your help we have been growing like crazy and spreading the Flying Dog gospel along the way. Unfortunately, there have been some disturbing rumblings coming from the office of Flying Dog President Eric Warner in recent weeks. Sales of Road Dog, the original Gonzo label done by Mr. Steadman, have been slumping and due to a keg shortage we already had to discontinue Road Dog on draft. Now, I know there are copious amounts of RoadDog fans out there and I would hate to see Eric make hasty decisions like he is known to do. Help me by joining in the “Save Road Dog Campaign”. Send your best defense for Road Dog to bullshit@flyingdogales.com and we will beat Eric into submission. The best response will be published in the next newsletter and win a free Road Dog t-shirt, pint glass and a Flying Dog cap. And for the sake of all that is holy, go out and drink some damn Road Dog.Check out more of Road Dog’s turbulent history at FlyingDogAles.com.
Send Us Your Video
Last week I mentioned that Flying Dog had launched a new website called BeerDinners.com. We want to make your cooking skills world famous; not Food Network famous,700 but we’ll do the best we can. Send us video footage of your next beer dinner (or a YouTube link) and we will post the good, bad and ugly up on BeerDinners.com and Flying Dog Brewery’s video page. I haven’t figured out what you’ll get yet but the best submissions will be rewarded.
Flying Dog Apparel Artist Series
Flying Dog Apparel and SupportLocalCreativity.com are launching a new t-shirt series featuring designs from independent artists from around the country. If you are an artist and wish to submit your artwork for consideration, please email supportcreativity@supportlocalcreativity.com for full details. Artists will be paid for their artwork as well as being featured at SupportLocalCreativity.com. The submission deadline for Flying Dog’s first Artist Series is Oct. 31 so get inspired and help Flying Dog promote your work.
Till next time, cheers!
Chris
